Install .

copy theme to /etc/bootsplash/themes

then run
splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/themes/brittany_murphy/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg > /boot/initrd

and /sbin/lilo
the install method may vary, depending on your distro/setup
