To add a proper progress bar: Add these lines to the bottom of the .cfg file (this one is lined up for the 1024x768 resolution, but you can adjust from this for the other resolutions): box silent inter 24 421 24 425 #0xCCCCCC 0xCCCCCC #383849 #2e2e3d box silent 24 421 421 425 #0xCCCCCC 0xCCCCCC #383849 #2e2e3d By the way, this is the nicest fbsplash I've seen for gentoo. I made a gdm theme and wallpaper from it.

I don't see the text "Booting the System (XX%) - anyone else having this problem? Suggestion: The dots under the text could appear like a brogres bar!?! Besides that, very nice splash! :)
what resolution do you use ? haven't tested 1400x1050 and higher
my screen resolution is 1280x1024.
I too seem to be missing the text (although verbose works fine). Perhaps you could post the contents of your menu.lst? Also, I'd really appreciate one at 1440x900 if you wouldn't mind, although I'll give it a go myself if you don't have the time.
It seems that recompiling with the make flag 'truetype' solves it.

How about rapidshare? I know its not that comfortable but it has no traffic limit.
Please don't use Rapidshare. I am unable to download anything from that site and I don't want to pay 10€ for a premium account to get one splash.

I have selected the free button, but I am behind a NAT sharing the IP with many others so the free download limit is always depleted. Thanx for moving to other host. I like this bootsplash very much.
