Description: This KWin Script extends the quick tiling functionality in KDE Plasma. It adds four shortcuts which behave similarly to the 2x2 Snap feature in Windows 10, and in addition allows tiling windows to the top or the bottom half of the screen.
Tested and compatible with multi-monitor setups.
Default keys are "Meta + Arrow", for example "Meta + Up", as in Windows 10, where the Meta key is also known as the Super key or Windows key. If the keys are already bound, you need to set them in "Global Shortcuts" from the start menu. The shortcuts are prefixed "Quick Tile 2". They are usually to be found in the KWin shortcut tab, but on some systems they end up in the System Settings tab.

I've been out of any sort of code writing for upwards of ten years so pardon me if I'm off base...is there any way to see shortcuts for this script without coming to the kde store in a web browser? It'd be nice to know what I can do with this from system settings in the info/about or some such but that might be a kde problem and not a script problem of course...regardless, thank you for your efforts :) I think this is exactly what I was hoping for regarding simple screen tiling...I just wish we could drag vertically as well as horizontally to kick tiled windows and I have yet to figure that out in my more limited knowledge these days.

10 10 the best Great improvement of quick tiling. I was missing this when coming from windows 10. Should be in Plasma by default.
