5 I am using CINNAMON and I problems I notice are, 1) buttons are too close to each other 2) Title bar becomes too narrow which hides bottom 10% of buttons. Looks. My screen has 1366x786 resolution btw. If that helps

i made some minor changes. it works fine with MATE & CINNAMON. not sure about XFCE or KDE
