Hello Flipwise. When installing the plasmoid a conflict with /usr /share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plama.kickoff is generated and the system is broken. Problems persist even after uninstalling UnibodyKickoff and attempting to restart Plasmashell due to changes in: /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.desktopcontaiment
Installation instructions or recommendations should be provided to avoid mishaps to users. Greetings.
It's intended to replace usr/share's Kickoff because otherwise there are no translations. But I haven't heard of system breakage. Can you describe this issue by filing a report here? https://github.com/flipwise/unibody-kickoff/issues

I failed to reproduce the behavior seen by installing the plasmoid using a terminal with the order: plasmapkg -i unibodykickoff19-02.plasmoid
Something that caused the Plamashell crash. However, renaming /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.kickoff and restarting Plasmashell, the launcher works correctly.
I have forgotten the password of my Github account and for the moment I am not interested in recovering it. I hope it serves as something what I experienced with UnibodyKickoff. For the moment I try to learn and in my spare time I work in a fork of UMenu to which I try to endow certain capacities that we enjoy in TiledMenu and in Kickoff. So if I can contribute something, then I will try to do my best. Greetings and excuse me for extending me so much.
Thanks for sending more info. I'm really not sure what's going wrong. It normally replaces KDE's Kickoff here in Manjaro. Which distro are you using? There are other widgets that match their respective KDE's widget name. Could you also try this one (https://store.kde.org/p/1227099/) and tell me if it breaks anything?
