Hi I have a problem. I can't compile with check install. I want to create a .deb package on kubuntu edgy 6.10 machine. Could you please let me know if these errors are anything I could do to fix it. Thanks http://pastebin.com/867755
I am replying to this my self. I have successfully downloaded and converted the .rpm file to .deb using the alian program via the command line. Anyone using a .deb distro such as kubuntu or debian etc. can do this too. Many thanks for the excellent program.

my webhost domain is temporary inaccessible, because some idiots use it for phising activity. they provided me with a temporary domain at http://donnie.911mb.com. if you have trouble downloading the rpm, just replace the 110mb.com with 911mb.com
...not just because I don't need it, since i'm no muslim. But I saw similar programs on windows that where much nicer and SMALLER because they stayed in the systray. This takes half of the taskbar and really looks ugly.
Because I can only have two screenshots it doesn't show the minimum size option. Those who are interested can look at the homepage for more screenshots. Regarding the aesthetic quality, please feel free to make suggestions:-) abdulhaq

Another suggestion would be sound. I saw a program for Windows which had a "prayer-alarm" with the call of a real muezzin. That was very cute. :-) P.S.: I reread my original post, and wanted to add that even I don't need the program it wasn't the reason I didn't like it. (Just design-questions) I've got no prejudices against the islam (or any other religion)...
No problem, any constructive criticism is welcomed here. Incidentally, this applet does have the muezzin feature too. I had a look at systray support and combining with the applet is tricky. It may need two separate programs. abdulhaq
Oh, for the record, superkaramba _does_ have systray support, and it could be done in superkaramba through dcop calls and what not. cheers -p0z3r

I think it couldn't be done with SuperKaramba as SuperKaramba only works with Python. Thanks for the support.
