Description: Quicklaunch replacement based on Tiled Menu by Zren. ALT + right mouse click to resize. Use drag and drop to insert the shortcuts. Built-in launcher icon is designed for breeze dark theme. To change use right click on widget->"Configure Tiled quicklaunch". Widget is intended for use by placing it on the panel near the start menu and taskbar. Requires minimum Plasma 5.12.
Advantages over the standard plasma quick launch: - scrolling - grouping - resizing - positioning - icons and background customization - import/export
Origin: I have exhausted desktop space for Plasma Quicklaunch items and there was no good alternative. Other menu widgets were too big or had unwanted features. This one here is compact and simple.
Please click on the Pling button to support. Thank you.Last changelog:
v5 (18.06.2021)
- escape key closes the popup - added option for left click popup dismissal in Import/Export
10My great developer friend. Your complement has been helpful to me for years! However, unfortunately, the Garuda I use updated Plasma to version 6. Therefore, its plasmoid broke. Because it is no longer compatible. But your palmoid is more important to me than Plasma 6. I would love to have it working again. Thank you very much if you do this. Don't let this wonderful work be forgotten in the past.
10The best!!
If you want a Plasma Quicklaunch like behavior you can configure it on the "Import/Export Layout" section and edit this lines:
"fullscreen": true,
"popupDismissOnLeftClick": true
Thanks for your work!!!
Nice, but i have to move my shortcuts to some folder, because i can't just add and then delete them from my desktop. I think it can be solved by automatic copying an added shortcut to some hidden folder and working with all added shortcuts from this folder. Sometimes, when i drag'n'drop a shortcut, it becomes empty, so i have to try 1 more time to add it.
Thanks. I expected it to work like a folder that expands to show tiles within it, but it's more like a "heading" with the tiles below it attached to the group.
How are entries added to a group? I can create the group, but when I drag & drop existing tiles or new files from Dolphin, they just overlap the group tile.
It is not useful for light themes. Text is hardly visible and utility for the end user is limited with the excess work required to make it useful. I dragged a running application from another panel to it and the was no response on click. I would like to use it regardless of which theme I choose.

Re: remix I've replied with quick instruction on github to your question.
How can I disable application names in icons? Would be great to have an option for this.

nice but it shows full filenames with .desktop so i need to rename every shortcut manually
10 10 the best It supports drag'n'drop and very flexible. Excellent widget!
Move them again to lower position. They will stick to the group.
