To get the effects I had to enable "Blur" and "Translucency" in "Settings > Workspace Behaviour > Desktop Effects". Also right click desktop "Enter Edit Mode", click cog on application launcher panel "More Options > Opacity > Translucent".
I said am on Arch KDE 5.25.5... I did nothing to break it. I just installed Layan-KDE GTK Kvantum from AUR (git version) Applying just gives me squared off corners on floating KDE panel... Like in image

I really love the clean, slick color scheme! Minimalist, but the choice of colors adds interest too. Very classy! Also I find that it helps me work better.

Rounded corners for KDE floating panel missing... What happened? Opened issue on Github back in May still no love why?
What's your desktop verison? I never find this issue on my manjaro plasma desktop
Plasma 5.25.5 of course... Manjaro is stuck on 5.24.6...
