Mediainfo Service Menu
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
This is a service menu which can display information for image, video and audio files. It uses mediainfo for fetching the information, so please install this package. Also install kdialog, which is used to display the text.
This is a modification of https://www.pling.com/p/998445/, but this one work with KDE 5.
For the "Menu with copy entries" variant to work you also need to install qdbus, this will allow the plugin to interact with the KDE Clipboard service. Last changelog:

8 8 great
9 9 excellent
I tried this service because Mediainfo is a great program, but ugly as hell, so I thought this alternative UI seemed to be well integrated with KDE/Plasma. The pity is that I cant make it work; well, partially. The generation of TXT and HTML works, but getting media (short or long) info, don't. Doesn't report any error either, just doesnt seem to happen anything. Mediainfo, the original program, is installed and working well.
Hey, have you installed kdialog and also the latest version?
No, I had not. I've installed it and now it works. Thank you. Now mi media info doesn't look like from the 90s :D If you allow me a couple of sugestions, a preview (the same that Dolphin shows, for example) of the analyzed file would be a nice thing. It'd be very practical if you are comparing metadata from several files since it's way quicker and agile than looking for the title bar to read the file names. Also, being able to resize the window would improve usability, I think. Very nice addon, nonetheless. Thank you
Thank you. That would require me to make extensive use of dolphin internal plugins, then the installation would be far more difficult and would require dev dependencies etc.. But I will add actions to directly copy the mediainfo result to the clipboard :)
