Made by EtienneGnome (with some little touches from Paulxfce)
This theme is the first variation from LinMOS (LinMOS is not Mac OS) theme. Like LinMOS, this theme is build and tested to provide a nice desktop environment : > Gnome 3.38 compatible > Light and Dark version > Transparent and Solid (non-transparent) version > Gnome Shell adapted theme
It comes with some new refinements : > Support for 4K resolution > Support for keybord driven highlighting > Reworked OSD widgets
TIPS:
Users with Nvidia driver are recommended to use solid version.
Solid version : version without transparency.
NEW:
2.1: Scrollbar widget updated with 3D effects. 2.0: Updated from Equilibrium : Gnome 3.38+ compatible, real solid version for Nvidia drivers, support for Nemo file browser, compiled for best results 1.0: Initial version with transparent and non-transparent (solid), light and dark versions.
IMPORTANT:
This theme is developed for the gnome DE. It works on GTK3.22 to GTK3.29, and GTK3.32/34/36/38+, NOT ON GTK 3.30, NOT ON GTK 4 NOR GNOME 40.
Just copy the extracted file to the '.themes' folder you make in your home directory. Then use Gnome-Tweaks tool and select the GTK3 and Gnome Shell themes for 'Applications' and 'Shell'. LOG OUT AND BACK IN for changes to take full effect !Last changelog:
Hey @cafeduke, Thank you very much for your rating.
I'm surprised you customized this theme for Gnome42.
Is this for Gnome-shell or for GTK 42?
It appears (at least in Ubuntu 22.04...I haven't tested Fedora 36 yet) that Gnome 42 (GTK) no longer allows changing the appearance of its apps.
Also, it's no longer useless, alas, a thousand times alas, that I update my themes, except to find a workaround of libadwaita, which I don't know.
However, I'm interested in seeing your customization solution. Can you show it to me?
A big thank to you :-)
Apologize for the delay in responding. I rarely check the associated email notification. I am using Ubuntu 22.04. My customization are rather modest and basic. I have borrowed some elements from YaruDark theme to customize BottleGlass. Please also find DukeGlass-2.1.zip, and DukeYaruDark.zip which are primarily color customizations inspired by BottleGlass. Thank you once again for the inspiring theme!

10hello , in this theme and SandDune theme, title in gnome-control-center and gnome-tweaks is hidden. i mean the one between search button and 3 dot hamburger menu button.
how did you do that?
can you provide the css code you use for that?!

First, thank you for your rating.
About hidden title in gnome-control-center and gnome-tweaks, I made this because of an issue in gnome-tweaks.
The code is this one :
.tweak-titlebar-left {
font-size: 0;
min-width: 200px;
box-shadow: none
}
You can change the titlebar-left size to suit your needs, and remove 'font-size: 0;' to display the title.
Actual cinnamon is a bit outdated.
It relies on some MATE libraries.
I know their roadmap involves improvements, but don't ask me when. :)
Actually, with Mint XFCE, if you switch to Metacity window compositor (and reboot) you can enjoy these themes.
Only the bottom panel is not supported, so you get a bright one. With coming XFCE 4.16, we'll be able to have a better control of the panel appearance.
Hope this helps.
Sorry I'm a Cinnamon guy :) I didn't mean to sound like I was whining. I have plenty of other really cool themes and some that I work on myself. I'll never finish them lol..
10Would like to add one more vote for GTK2. There are still app using GTK2 (Audacious for example). They looks really bad when the theme doesn't support GTK2.
Not sure why this comment has deleted my previous comment. The theme has 3D effects on drop down and location bar. However the scrollbars are flat. Is it intentional?

9 Looks really nice. I can't use it but still great work.
Thank you for your rating. Why can't you use it ?
Mint Cin.. This isn't the only one either, there's several really nice themes going right now that I can't use. Oh well..

No problem, LOL! Fortunately there are other spices than cinnamon so to each his own, and enjoy! :)

You're right ... I didn't work on scrollbars ... Not too complicated job ;-) Next update ... :-)
