This updated Release introduces a new setting as an additional way to customize Rocket!
The tight layout setting -- if turned on -- moves all items to the centre on the last page (unless the user is searching). If turned off, all elements are lined up from the top.

Hi friciwolf. I just found this interesting application launcher option and yet I have not been able to install it on Kubuntu 20.04. I downloaded the three files that are in the repository. I unzip the .zip containing the installer, run ./install.sh and nothing (or at least I can't find a way to launch Rocket). What am I forgetting?
Could you add something that allows changing the text colors? If I want to remove the background, the system wallpaper may be in a color that is not compatible with the text colors
Interesting proposition, I haven't thought about it yet. Currently I am working on the feature allowing users to create folders (item rearrangement is already supported), which I intend to finish first; after that, I could add this setting to the Designer. In the meantime you could turn off the boxes feature and set the base colour to something which has better contrast to the label colour (which is defined by your current theme). Alternatively, you could also increase the blur radius and font sizes for better legibility. I hope it helps, until a patch is added...
10 10 the best – Thank you for creating this amazing app launcher! It does not appear on store.kde.org, so you might have to change the category (something under Linux/Unix Desktops > Desktop Themes > KDE > KDE Plasma).
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you liked it! I've just moved it to that category, yet it seems to be "stuck" in this store...
I've emailed the admins, it's also available under https://store.kde.org/p/1507169/ now :)
