Description: This is a text effect for kdenlive which shows the text appearing with a bar going across the screen. It is a library clip, so it needs to be added to your library folder (.local/share/kdenlive/library), and can be modified once the clip is expanded. More info here: https://youtu.be/BK2mDLlhoYA
9I find this title effect pretty cool - Thank's a lot!
I've downloaded and move it to ...usr\AppData\Roaming\kdenlive\library of my kdenlive Windows installation.
However I did'nt find how to access and edit the text effect from the kdenlive GUI.
(editing the .mlt file with a text editor and drag'n'drop it via file browser to the timeline worked, but probabliy that's not the intended way of use).
Any idea?
Thank's a lot in advance!
Hi ! you should open the library in kdenlive (view -> library), then click the button to add it to the project bin. Then you can put it on the timeline and expand it (timeline -> current clip -> expand), and then you can change the text in the bin. I think everything is in this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuDJfDevTxY

Where do I find the files that need to be moved to the library folder?
it's just the file you download here, you can download with the download button on the top right or by clicking on "files" just under the image
