Little Adams Peak is named after its big brother, Holy Mountain, Adam's Peak. Because it is shaped like Adam's hill. Adam's Peak is located in the west of Sri Lanka and close to Nuwara Eliya. And with a height of 2243 meters, it is one of the most strenuous and challenging climbing experiences! However, the mountain has three names. Adam's Peak is where Adam first set foot on earth after his expulsion from heaven, Sri Padas Buddha's footprint left by the Buddha on his way to Surapura, and Samanalakanda Butterfly Hill where butterflies die.
