FRESH - A Material Design Theme [updated color elements]
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Available as/for:
Description:The FRESH theme is based on Material Design standards, and aims to bring a clean, colorful, and elegant experience to your desktop. Users will find their non-intrusive color just where they need it.
Manual Installation Is Easy:
For themes: 1) Extract the "tar.xz" file into your "~/.themes/" folder - to install for current user only - or into the "/usr/share/themes/" folder - for the theme to be applied globally. 2) Use GNOME Tweaks, Dconf Editor, or an equivalent 'Look & Feel'/configuration app to enable it for your desktop.
If installing manually, make sure to install the dependency: "Murrine theme engine" if you do not already have it; and update your GTK+packages if you have not.
Logging out and then logging back in may be necessary on some operating systems to fully implement themes and icons.
23-11-16: Version 1.3.1
This update visits the shell's calendar for all six flavor variants. Here, the current date's highlighted circle was brightened to improve text readability and contrast. The highlighted element still retains each individual accent color relevant to the flavor variant accessed. Commit: 94c797b

Thanks for that support, wichoo77!
10 Themes these days seem to be a race to see who can get the blackest. Thank god for FRESH. I'm currently using Cherries and it looks great with grey Suru icons. I'd like to ask that you consider giving a little more love to the file manager, both Nautilus and Nemo (which is my preferred. I added some color to the sidebar myself (image link below) but I'm using HEX and seem to be a tad off. Great job! Thanks for the support and image, mcoyle1960! Let me see what I can do on a different platform versus the material-design architecture that FRESH depends on. So many folks love material, yet still commonly find themselves wanting for more pizazz here
(it cut me off, continuing)
I'll name the theme after you, and call it "Coyle." It is of Irish origin and means "Leader in battle" (according to https://www.thebump.com/b/coyle-baby-name). It may be a couple of weeks before Coyle is churned out and tested, but you won't miss it by that name.
Haha! I'd be honored to have a theme of yours named after me, but I won't hold you to it. Thanks for all your work.

The site is malfunctioning, right now; please piece my responses together...
10 There is the most pleasant theme I've used. Perfect alternative to Solarized Light.
Thank you for the support, that is really good to hear! You make me feel guilty (like a few others users do) :) about not keeping Solarized Light in development. FWIW, I'll probably redo SL and get that one back out at some point in the semi-near future. Take Care!
10 10 the best
Thank you, glad you enjoy it!
10 10 the best I think I like this one better than M-Stones!
Thank you for trying!
Thanks a bunch!
10 10 the best plum cherry and glacier awesome awesome awesome. thanks!!
I'm glad you a enjoying the theme; thanks as well!
9 This LA version I must for Xfce is what to needed, so good for providing in lightweight OS version! Thanks you man!
Yes, the lightweight/LA version is a game-changer, or at least necessary, for some OSs and window managers
9 Very good theme for me (Fresh Avocado) with Tela Grey Dark theme icons and Nimbus Sans Regular fonts. But: Hugin Panorama Creator buttons look ugly, and Gimp menus are borderless. Manjaro Linux and XFCE.
Thanks a bunch, for you compliment, and your thorough analysis thereafter! The 'LA' version of each flavor usually says: "Extra support for openbox-3, LXDE, Xfce, and Legacy Apps." That description was left off for those flavor variants on this update ( 1.1.9), and I must apologize for that (the description is on there now).
9 I have been using this theme for the daytime, I use the mat-black for night. I guess I'm hooked on material. However, I noticed you had icons for Fresh, like the mat-black, but I can no longer find them anywhere. Can you send me the link or put it here? Good work!
I am very happy with this theme (I gave it a 10 score), and I wish I could have the icons. Will they be coming back by chance?
FWIIW I also noticed that some people wish it had more color but I wish for you to keep it the way it is. This theme is kind of minimalist, but with a uniqueness. Thanks!
