I have a question, under substitutions, do you know how can I replace the "Default" title (when no window is selected/focused) to an empty string? I tried the pair <"Default", ""> but does not work, maybe some kind of regex can do it but idk.
Also, it would be nice to be able to set a custom font to it, for me the default bold is too thick and non bond is too thin.

This should never happen. Updating from Plasma 5 could have brought some old files back and since this applet uses the same id as the one for Plasma 5, this error COULD show. Since it has been working for everyone else, can you please check configuration on your side? If it still affects your system, you can open an issue on the github.
I don't know if the problem is only in kde neon, but for it to work I had to rename the folder that contains the applet elements, the name must match the name of the widget, I suppose that those who comment and point are doing the manual installation process from github and naming the folder themselves, I must also comment that the widget is not installable from the configuration center, it uploads the file directly to the pling and not a link to github, it also ensures that the name matches, and only uploads one file. , so it will be easier to install, I want to use it as a dependency in my themes that imitate macos
