Description:
Loud in your face tribute to wayforwardmachine in a grub theme. All content is copyright by https://wayforward.archive.org/ and its authors and creators.
Works well on higher resolutions as the original font is the default but you can change it of course.
Files will be on offer once I can get grub2-theme-preview working as due to a recent python (*-*) update breaking a bunch of things.
Problems fixed so archive is ready to download but I'm having trouble uploading screenshots but it's mostly bright green on black with that wacky font they use on the header.
Tested in grub2-theme-preview and on my endeavouros at boot, no problems.
Cheers and enjoy ('-' )

GRUB

How to install a grub theme:

  1. Extract the theme to /boot/grub/themes/

  2. Edit /etc/default/grub file. Find the line starting with "#GRUB_THEME" and change it to "GRUB_THEME=/boot/grub/themes/[THEME_FOLDER]/[theme.txt]" (replace [THEME_FOLDER] ; [theme.txt] is probably OK ; remove "[]" brackets)

  3. Run sudo update-grub
