Description: A simple and quite stupid service menu to play or enqueue a whole directory with XMMS. Useful if you don't have a m3u list for the songs.Last changelog:
pretty kewl but do you know a way to have xmmsdirectory that says play in XMMS
and
xmmsenqueue that says enqueue in XMMS
to go above the others I tried putting a space in the Name are but i just ignored it. It's just that those are at the bottom of my list and I'd prefer them near the top. But that is nothing important just curious
thanks for the servicemenu entry
Hi:
Your question is interesting and I don't know exactly how KDE controls the order or de service menus. I thing the order is due to the name of the .desktop file. In my computer, if i rename xmmsdirectory.desktop into xmmszdirectory.desktop the Play with XMMS service go after Enqueue one. So yo can try to rename the file (for example adding an 'a' at the begining).
Another system is to add the line X-KDE-Priority=TopLevel in the section [Desktop Entry] of each service menu. This put the service out of the Actions menu, in the principal tree.
Try these things and say me your results. I'm going to continue investigating.
Just go to $HOME/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus (create the servicemenus directory if nedeed) and copy xmmsdirectory.desktop file. Note that .kde directory is hidden.

X-KDE-Priority=TopLevel Was exactly what I was looking for thank you. ---Now that I know that's possible :) Thank you
Hi, When I've seen your service menu, I found what I was looking for a while. Thanks! Toth
Hell-o, How do I install this? I'm using KDE 3.3.2. Thanks, Jason Hodges

Hell-o, Thanks. I didn't have a servicemenu folder and didn't know I had to create it. Works great now. Thanks, Jason Hodges
