Description:
2PSPVideo is a KDE service menu which allows quick and easy conversion of video files to PlayStation Portable (PSP) compliant mp4 files. You will need to have ffmpeg installed. Once finished, the video will be saved into the root of your home directory as M4V00002.MP4.
As Im currently without a PSP I have not tested the converted files, so feedback is appreciated.
To install, just save the source code into /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/ The video conversion option will then appear under the 'Actions' menu when you right-click a video file.
Last changelog:

V0.1 - Initial, conversion to PSP compliant video

V0.2 - Added function to make PSP compliant thumbnail to go with the video.

Thank you! For gentoo user, do not forget to enable aac (USE="aac" emerge ffmpeg). To get a thumbnail, just create another service menu: Desktop Entry] ServiceTypes=video/* Actions=2PSPThumbnail [Desktop Action 2PSPThumbnail] Name=Convert to PSP Thumbnail Icon=package_multimedia Exec=konsole -e ffmpeg -y -i %u -f singlejpeg -ss 5 -vframes 1 -s 160x120 -an M4V00002.THM Greetings!

Hmmm, for some strange reason singlejpeg-format doesn't work on my Debian-box. Thanks anyway, I'll include your thumbnal-generation in the servicemenu.

tkoecker

It also works on debian if you change the format from "singlejpeg" to "mjpeg".
