Digit's Big Tiny Font Collection
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
Digit's Big Tiny Font Collection is a collection of (mostly) tiny bitmap fonts created by Digit.
They're available here as .otb format for x window, but can be made available for other formats with the likes of fontforge.
any questions or comments, feel free to use gnome-look.org's messaging system, or contact me direct in #witchlinux on irc.freenode.net
vote it up if you find a font you really like.
try them all out. some have alternative spaced versions, as not all applications will display the fonts the same.
some of my faves are tidyr, zo, krbo, mnkh, and tnk, at least on my laptop's monitor.
my workstation has an ancient blurry monitor, and on it, i prefer something like eli, syt, svndee, cbrn or ackto.
feeling brave, or in dire need of a very very small font, try cnub, qnub, or even, at the most extreme, bf.
~ only added a small montage of just a small selection of the fonts. you might catch some more preview images of some of the fonts loitering around here: http://ks392457.kimsufi.com/stuff/fonts/?C=S;O=D Last changelog:

Release1,
quick sloppy release instead of the multiple bundles originally planned... they may surface yet tho. but this way, you just get a nice clean bundle to drop into your system.

hi, i use sometimes a old dos prog for writing some .txt . the font is scaled to wide screen by my monitor. is a font like that in your collection.would be great if thats the case. regards bluedxca93
i'm not entirely clear about what you mean, but some fonts are wide, most are as narrow as i could make. these are otb format, bitmap fonts, and as such, wont scale well, if at all. in slackware, they scale, in all other distros i've tried, they are fixed at the size they are, pixel perfect. i've yet to determine what slackware has set different to perhaps have access to toggle scalability of bitmap fonts.
