Could you please upload this to somewhere like Mediafire or to this site if possible? Yandex won't let me download this theme, and I don't trust anything that makes me download a toolbar.
ok http://www.mediafire.com/file/drurxn5noxqtye0/Air%20with%20circles.tar.gz
Hey guys, I wouldn't like to sound snob or whatever, but it's really simple to add it as a different theme and keep the default one as it is. You just have to edit the "Name=" line in the file "metadata.desktop" which is located in the main folder of the theme, "Air with circles". You only need to care that the Name MUST match the folder name of the theme. In short: - extract the tar wherever you want - copy the "Air with circles" folder in your ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/ - change the "Name=Air" to "Name=Air with circles" in the file ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/Airwith circles/metadata.desktop If you use KDE 4.5 or 4.6, I strongly suggest that you copy at least the original "systemtray.svgz" and "arrows.svgz" from /usr/share/kde4/apps/desktoptheme/default/widgets/ to your ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/Airwith circles/widgets folder in order to match the new systray. Other svgz files can be copied at will. I hope you find this information useful.
How do I install this? I can't drag the tar anywhere, I can't find anywhere to put the folder where it shows in desktop theme settings. I have also tried installing via "get new themes" and searching for it but it never shows up as a desktop theme once installed.
Unpack archive and replace with its contents the directory ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/default
Would that then make the "new" oxygen theme unavailable?
Yes,unfortunately if to give to the directory other name and to rename a subject it not begins work.Any case at me in debian hasn't earned.
Can you please add an alternative download location? It's not possible to download from Megaupload, I always get a "internal server error" when I try.
no problem, man,I upload archive to other hoster
Thanks :)
