Can you add lancelot menu theme to this theme what is adjusted to use system colors.? You can use plasma theme aya to look how it is done.

Sorry for the shameless plug, but I think people using this will probably also be interested in the Oxygen-themed system tray icons for Plasma >= 4.5 (entirely based on Oxygen icons) which I uploaded: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=134914 If you theme your Plasma to look more like regular Oxygen-themed apps and to honor system colors, the monochrome icons must stick out like a sore thumb! @Kame2: I see you have partially done system tray icons (a variation on the monochrome theme) which aren't used yet. Would you be interested in using these instead? They're under the same license as the Oxygen icon theme itself (LGPLv3+).

Kame2

As you saw, I am working on my own monochrome icons and so am not interessted in colored versions. And the user is free to use your icons instead, so I see no point in including them in Oxywin. But if you see a usecase for Oxywin with your icons included, feel free to modify my theme and put your variant her on kde-look.org.

Great looking theme but I've run into one problem... I'm using the default version for Plasma 4.5.0 (and KDE 4.5.0...). Now, I'm a heavy user of Kontact and uses the calender quite extensively. I keep the digital clock in a top-panel. When I click on it, a calendar panel slides down. In the default theme (AIR, but slightly modified by Suse) dates with events are shown in bold in that calendar. With your theme there is no indication of which dates are linked to an event. I can see the events themselves if I let the mouse pointer hover above the date in question though. Could you please fix that?

Kame2

The problem was caused by the textbox in the buttom. It was too big so the calender table above was scaled down. This is fixed now. Thanks for pointing me to this.

I liked the Oxywin theme, but I had problems. I tried both the Oxywin and Oxywin without background pattern (my preference). I have the Digital Clock configured to show date, day of week, and year. I have it on the right-hand side, next to the system tray. When I apply the Oxywin Desktop Theme, the items on the Taskbar/panel continually redraw. I had to reapply the Oxygen Theme. I removed the Digital Clock and applied the Oxywin Desktop Theme and it was okay. I re-added the Digital Clock with the defaults and it was okay. The problem started when I added all 3, Date, Day of Week, and Year. The Oxywin Theme is okay with 2 of them, but not 3. Some sort of sizing/padding problem? I also had this problem with the Glassified theme. KDE 4.3.5

Seems like a bug in 4.3 as I can't reproduce it with 4.4.1. Can you try to update?

kdeapps270504

Thank you for the quick reply. The more I try tweaking my desktop, the more confusing this gets. I have opensuse 11.2 on a VM w/kde 4.3.5. The VM did not have the problem, so I didn't upgrade to kde 4.4. On my main machine, I also have 11.2 w/kde 4.3.5, but I had the problem. I started comparing things to narrow it down. I tried many things, including turning off effects (which the VM doesn't have). When I increased the Height of the Taskbar/Panel (it seems like the default is 35px), I couldn't get Oxywin to fail, at all, even when I put the Height back. Now that things seemed settled on the desktop, I think I'll leave everything alone. Thank you so much. Nice theme!

Kame2

Strange thing. I tried myself with different panel-sizes and all worked. So if someone hits the bug the solution seems to just change size of panel (and change it back after that). If someone can find a way to reproduce this bug, please fill a bug report and let me know.

fdmarco3

simply excellent, i like it!

SeaJey

It would be nice to have more contrasted pager widget with Oxywin: http://pic.ipicture.ru/uploads/090926/876/N53TlGJUzc.png

Kame2

Take a look at the current version (screenshots are not updated at the moment so please install it to look at it). Hope you like it.

giucam

This is the best theme i've seen so far! Great work! There's only one thing: the plasmoids in the desktop have the oxygen's black background, and not the one i see in your screenshots

Kame2

That is strange... How do you have it installed? downloaded here from kde-look.org or from desktop-settings within kde? Which version of kde do you use?

giucam

i installed it from the desktop settings, kde 4.3.1 and trunk

Kame2

Ok, somehow the grafik for the normal background had a wrong name. This is fixed now

giucam

thanks!

Vistausss

It installs fine now via GetHotNewStuff, but now I have found a bug. When I want to shutdown down my PC, the shutdown dialog isn't shown. The screen freezes when I click on Shutdown. With other themes the problem doesn't appear.

Kame2

I can reproduce it when i turn off desktop effects. seems like the background is not scaled to the size of the widget. but with effects enabled it looks good. i will take a look at it if i find some time.

Kame2

The background itself is scaled correctly but the mask for the window isn't. If desktop effects are enabled, the mask isn't used so it works fine then. I had a look at the source but cannot say why this only affects this theme. I am going to fill a bug report.

Kame2

There was already a report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199965

Vistausss

It looks good, congrats on that. But when I install it via Desktop Settings, it says it is installed, but it doesn't show up in the Plasma themes list.
