It does not work on Plasma 5 :(, I hope the Developer can update it.
When compiling Mawakit from source I am getting the following error when the compiler arrives at src/qibla.cpp Please help. # make [ 0%] Built target plasma_applet_mawakit_automoc [ 5%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/plasma_applet_mawakit.dir/src/qibla.o .../src/qibla.cpp: In constructor ‘QiblaDirectionForm::QiblaDirectionForm(QDialog*)’: .../src/qibla.cpp:38:33: error: ‘class QwtCompass’ has no member named ‘setScaleOptions’ .../src/qibla.cpp:38:49: error: ‘ScaleTicks’ is not a member of ‘QwtDial’ .../src/qibla.cpp:38:71: error: ‘ScaleLabel’ is not a member of ‘QwtDial’ make[2]: *** [CMakeFiles/plasma_applet_mawakit.dir/src/qibla.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/plasma_applet_mawakit.dir/all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2
Hi, You need the development file of Qwt library (the Qt4 version). In Ubuntu it's libqwt5-qt4-dev.
May Allah reward you for your efforts in creating this widget. It works perfectly and elegantly binds with my desktop. Excellent work ! Thank you !
Salaam, I've installed this on Kubuntu 10.10 using the 10.04 deb file and it works but after I change some of the settings like country and city the icon disappears from the plasmoid, it still works but without an icon if or when you release a 10.10 version will this be fixed? Good work bro w'salaam ~ Peace
Salem, Thanks for the report, I will look for this bug once I upgrade to 10.10 Best regards.
Jazakallahu khairan. Thank you brother. It is very useful insyaAllah.
I have no use for it (other religion), but I like the idea, therefore I vote up, seems to be a quite useful widget.
Excellent work! Thank you!
