Gursormaker is a pain to use since it's still in beta and cursor positions and animated cursors are not loaded from a gursor package correctly, but it's the only way I could get one of the cursors to work.
Hi again !
I've uploaded those on github to ease download and packaging:
https://github.com/nim65s/gruppled-cursors
https://github.com/nim65s/gruppled-lite-cursors
Please don't hesitate to reach me if there is any issue with that
I really like this cursor set. Very elegant and modern!
But unfortunately I'm having a problem. I've tried using all the variants of gruppled on my LinuxMint 6 distro and I get the same problem. While in firefox (maybe others..) if I click a link the wait icon from my default cursor set is shown instead of the gruppled one.
I'm sorry, i don't know what the problem could be. All i can say is that it works for me. If the problem appears only in Firefox, try installing a different version. If you just downloaded Firefox from the website, try installing it through apt instead. Unfortunately, there is a disappointing lack of a good, clean cursor editor for gnome.
Sorry `bout that. Seems I jumped the gun, either after a reboot, or perhaps just restarting Firefox it sorted itself out. Thanks for the quick response though.
It's probably just a bug with the cursor manager.
If you want my personal opinion, I'd prefer the mouse without the colors, or a color theme. That is, choose only one color for the events.
Other than that, I like how you play with the angle of the cursor for different events.
This change of angle makes cursor like an alive beeing - credits to "Ghost" creator!
I think You should keep all theese colors, because this is one of things which distinguish it among others.
I'm sorry, how is one supposed to install this cursortheme? I've installed most of the themes by extracting them into the .icons folder or dragging them into Appearance, but this one doesn't seem to work O.o
(I've extracted the folders separately and even created tar.bz2's of them)
Hi, Gruppled. Your cursor is great!
You must set the size of left_ptr to one of {12, 16, 24, 32, 36, 40, 48, 64} if you want show cursor theme in gnome-appearance-properties.
See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402656 and search http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gnome-control-center/trunk/capplets/common/gnome-theme-info.c?view=markup with keyword "filter_sizes[]".
For everyone, I made a little program with which you can change every property of cursor and modify images.

Gnome Shell crashed with this cursor when you are going to move a window from one workspace to another
Yes, I reported that on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/355, but this is still not fixed :(
these cursors are minimal abstract modern -- I love 'em! Good work!

Ok, I've got it, through appearance, drag the tar.bz2 of one of the folders, as usual, but select "apply new theme". Thanks, they're nice!
Glad you like them. I'm sorry, I don't know why they don't show up in the cursor list. If anyone knows, I'd be glad to fix them.
