Hi, sorry for the confusion. As you have mentioned in other comments, in order to change the color of the folder icons in this icon theme, you would typically open the System Settings on KDE Plasma and change the Selection Background for the color-scheme in use. I however, am NOT using KDE Plasma as my desktop and thus do not have access to the System Settings program that comes with Plasma. I still would like to use these icons regardless but without having KDE Plasma installed I do not know of any method to change the folder color. Currently, the icons have a default blue color to them which does not match my color-scheme so I would like to change their color if I can. Even if you can not find a solution, it would be helpful if you could provide any information related to how you implemented the color changing folders so I can try to hack in my own solution. Thanks!
I use the "Inkscape" application, screenshot: https://postimg.cc/NybsmG16 , You can change the color of each folder using that application. Screenshot: Screenshot: https://postimg.cc/NyGyWzDx
Thanks! One last question, how did you implement the ability folders to change color automatically based on the color set in System Settings? I could not quite figure that out when poking around in the GitHub repository.
Hi victoryoiti,
Simply, change Color Scheme in System Settings.
For example: If you install Color Scheme: "Manjaro-Cyan-Dak-Color", folders will be green (cyan), if you install Color Scheme: "Red-Dot-Black-Dark-Color", folders will be red ... So it all depends on the Color Scheme you set.
You can also change the color that determines the color of the folder.
The color that determines the color of the folder is: Common Colors > Selection Background.
Welcome,
1010 absolutely the best. Breeze is a fantastic icon theme and I love how I can just install this and have it conform to my custom color scheme. No funky gradients, just color.

Hi, I love the icons but am wondering how I could change the folder color on desktops other than KDE Plasma? Would love to hear back!
