i appreciate it :) But there must exist a possible for setting up the size of the Icon-Theme.. or, you look inside of the index.theme and adjust it per hand, if it's work it's pretty well, i use this theme on Plasma, Gnome and trinity . But it should works so far at all supported themes where supports Freedesktop :) Did you tested out my Win2000 theme ? You could rate all my themes if if you want :)

Thanks for the reply. I tried the Win2000 theme, and the exact same thing happens: Icons are way too big. This isn't happening with any other icon theme I have. I'm currently using B00merang's XP Icon Theme, and it seems to be working just fine. I really don't know what to look for in the index.theme file to try and correct this, though. I appreciate your work, though. :-)

well, then scale xfce the icons not down, these be png's into svg Pictures and the svg is a scale possibility picture format. If the wm it not does it is clear to be the icons to huge ... today in this times should an modern or a good developmented WM scaling svg-icons down to the right size of the need size in the right places.. I have build the png's into 512x512 px who have a right sharpness for scaling up to a UHD format, so for the future.. You should go to the Development Page of Xfce and excite,suggest , to be all svg-icons scaled in the right size.. as Issue. To have the possible for use Scaling Iconthemes too.. this Pling.com/OpenDesktop is startet with a store for KDE3.X or was 4.5 ? don't know any more in right way.. how ever, the store.kde.org was started for building Themes for KDE .. so.. should the WM Xfce build in a routine for make it able to use scaled iconthemes with svg, wat makes also the Themebilder more easy to build a theme together.. i use the png2svg.sh script for building together the theme, so this script where have as picture the hanging spider ;) you can found it under my products .. The index.theme do you find in the icontheme-folder where setting up the config of the icons.. try a look under $HOME/.local/share/icons/thethemename/ into this name should be the index.theme or under $HOME/.icons/thethemename/ .. so in the themefolder of the iconfolder... best blacky

i am on the way to make the whole Mimetypes XP-Specific ;) also the W2K mimetypes and my old "normal""Real Time" Theme.. i have 3 Mimetype Arts in one run.. something over 2000 Icons together from both.. (them in the mimetypes folder) let you surprise how it whanna look at end :) be in any case manny icons.. Images-icons, done, Multimedia Icons also done.. now the whole Text-icons, KDE and so on.. let see when's i am finish so far.. hmmm... best
